  After a simple purchase I was offered a New Look card, I asked for information and was told that I would receive periodic discounts so I accepted, presuming this to be like any other clubcard. I then gave in the last four digits of my debit card for "security reasons." and went about my day. After two months I have been phoned by a company that I had no idea existed asking for a payment because my New Look card is in arrears..
  
  After explaining my situation and that I had no idea what was going on and why I was even being charged as I hadn't even used the card and had no idea it was a credit card, the company where very nice about it and put in a formal complaint and asked that I speak to the store about it.
  
  After calling the store up, I spoke to a manager named Lucy. She basically laughed at my reasoning and said that without proof she had no reason to believe me and denied the cancellation of my card until I paid the measly £7 charge.
  
  Disgraceful customer service, be careful in this store.
